When I envisioned opening my own business over a year ago, I truly didn’t think it would end up where it is today. Starting out as just a small Cricut based business limited me in what I could do. The projects I was doing at the start were simple; cups with vinyl, stickers, kitchen labels. Designing items through Cricut were fun, but I continued to have an itch to do more. The next step I took (or should I say, my husband Scott took) was getting an automatic heat press. Now, I had a heat press before, but it was manual and I had to apply to pressure, and it didn’t always work. After wasting a lot of material and time, Scott bought me an automatic heat press, which has saved time and guessing! I was able to expand my heat press based jobs to more than just t-shirts and small designs. I started to do tote bags, wine bags, and sweatshirts. Even with this expansion, I wanted to do more.
My most recent step, was to jump head first into the engraving world. I purchased an XTool M1, which has opened up SO many more possibilities. With this added machine, I have been able to expand to engraving tumblers, wood, acrylic and more! This machine has allowed for my creative expression to truly come out. On hard days, I often find myself creating new designs, and most importantly, putting a smile on my face. The calmness and serenity in my work space is the perfect escape I need some days.
So that’s the journey to today…and I can’t wait to see where this continues to grow. More to come soon…!
