I truly love a good challenge, it’s something that has always been the way I work. From being challenged athletically, to jobs that I did, to this small business, I thrive off of the challenge. When I was asked to do a large coozie project for a wedding, I was honestly a little scared to commit. I knew that I would have to think outside the box and challenge myself.
As I was scrolling through social media videos, I saw a Cricut designer using a screen print for small project. I thought to myself, what an ideal way to not have to weed out 120+ designs and then heat press them all. I would only need to weed out ONE design (if I did it right…), and reuse the screen print for all the coozies! I ended up pulling the trigger and purchasing a screen print.
This saved me so much time and effort, but it was no without fail. Learning to line up the coozies correctly and double checking that the design was still in tact after each coozie was the most important thing. I also learned the hard way that you have to clean off the screen immediately when you’re done, otherwise its ruined…so I ended up having to do two designs, but still better than 120!
Thankfully through this entire learning process, I truly had the best time doing this project. I think that they ended up coming out SO good and I can’t wait to use the screen print more in the future…keep your eyes out!
